# Request a refund

*Applies to: iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Web · Updated 2026-08-21*

Apple bills our subscriptions, so refunds go through Apple. How to request a refund for a purchase, or for the unused portion when you switch plans.

**Applies to:** Timepage (iPhone, iPad, Mac); Actions and Flow (iPhone, iPad, web).

Our subscriptions are purchased and billed by **Apple through the App Store**, not by Bonobo directly — so refunds are handled by Apple, and we can't issue them for you. You request the refund from Apple, and it's usually a quick process. Here's how.

## Request a refund for a purchase

1. Go to [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com).
2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Scroll or search to find the app you want a refund for.
4. Choose **Report a Problem**, then select the reason — for example, **"Didn't mean to purchase this item."**

Apple reviews the request and, if it's approved, refunds the charge to your original payment method.

## Refund for the unused portion when you switch plans

If you move from a single-app subscription to the Bonobo Bundle — or otherwise change plans — you may be eligible for a refund on the unused portion of your existing subscription. Apply through [Apple's refund process](https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204084).

## Still need help?
