# Send us your crash logs

When we're troubleshooting an issue, a crash log helps us see what went wrong. Here's how to find crash logs on your iPhone or iPad and send them to us.

While we're troubleshooting an issue with you, we might ask for a crash log. A crash log is a small diagnostic file your device records when an app closes unexpectedly; it tells us what the app was doing at the moment it failed, which is often the fastest way for us to pin down a bug. You can find these logs on your own device and send them to us.

## Find and send a crash log

1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to **Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data**.
2. You'll see an alphabetical list of all the crash logs on your device.
3. Scroll to the app in question and tap the most recent log — it'll be named something like `Timepage-2026-01-02-03-123456.ips`.
4. Tap the **share** button in the top-right corner, or copy and paste the whole contents of the log into your reply to us.
