Actions 3.10 is a big one. The headline is that you can now talk to Actions with Siri, so you can add tasks, check what’s on and tick things off just by asking. There’s also a new full-screen Extra Large widget, and we’ve rebuilt every one of our Shortcuts from the ground up. Here’s everything in detail, and as always, thank you!
Talk to Actions with Siri
Actions now works with Siri, so you can add and manage your tasks without lifting a finger.
- Add tasks by voice, straight into the right list — “Add candles and paper cups to my shopping list in Actions.”
- Ask what’s due — “What do I need to do today in Actions?”
- Tick things off and reschedule without opening the app.
- It works across apps and understands what’s on your screen. Find a handwritten list in a Flow notebook, for example, and Siri can add it to Actions as tasks.

New Extra Large widget
There’s a new Extra Large widget for your iPhone Home Screen that shows far more of your schedule and lists on a single widget.
- The Schedule widget can now show any list. Tap a list down the right-hand side to switch — perfect for jumping straight to your shopping list from the Home Screen.
Rebuilt Shortcuts
We’ve rebuilt Actions’ Shortcuts from the ground up. In the Shortcuts app you’ll now find Create Action, Create List, Create From Reminders, Open List, Get Actions, Get Lists, Daily Briefing, Completed Actions and Spring Clean — ready to drop into your own automations.
