We’d like to let you know about a little name change related to our apps (Timepage, Actions, Flow and Overlap).
A bit of background ☺️
In 2017, our company Bonobo created Timepage. We then started a branding collaboration with Moleskine called ‘Moleskine Studio’, which went on to include all our apps: Timepage, Actions, Flow and Overlap. This collaboration wraps up in 2025, so the apps are changing back to be named ‘by Bonobo’ rather than ‘by Moleskine Studio’. The individual names of the apps are not changing.
What will change?
Nothing will change about the apps themselves or the team that makes them. We are the same developers and designers who’ve been here from day one – but now using our Bonobo name. The apps, features, and support by the same team you trust will continue without interruption. You’ll start to see some minor updates, such as URLs changing, but your login, subscriptions, and data will remain exactly the same. Our infrastructure and systems are all the same as they always have been.
Who is Bonobo?
We’re a team of passionate app makers founded by Ben, Nate and Michael over sixteen years ago. We created Timepage in 2017, then went on to make Actions, Flow and Overlap. We love making apps that make everyday life easier and more fun.
Do I have to do anything?
Nope, nothing at all. Your access remains the same. As always, if you encounter any issues, our support team is here to help.
When will this happen?
The transition is already underway. You’ll start seeing Bonobo in a few places, including in communications from us.
Why is this happening?
Our brand collaboration with Moleskine has reached the end of its timeline. Bonobo will continue making Timepage, Actions, Flow, and Overlap, and Moleskine will continue their “Smart Writing Set” and other apps which are not made by Bonobo. As our customer, you can get an offer to try out the Moleskine app (formerly Moleskine Balance) here.
What new features are coming?
As the Australians on our team might say, we’ve been flat out like a lizard drinking (which means we’ve been super busy). We have a lot of updates coming, so buckle up! Because you read this far in the email, you deserve a little hint - Actions for Mac is coming soon and we’ll be recruiting testers shortly.
