Request a refund

Applies to: iOS, iPadOS, macOS, WebUpdated August 2026

Applies to: Timepage (iPhone, iPad, Mac); Actions and Flow (iPhone, iPad, web).

Our subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple through the App Store, not by Bonobo directly — so refunds are handled by Apple, and we can’t issue them for you. You request the refund from Apple, and it’s usually a quick process. Here’s how.

Request a refund for a purchase

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Scroll or search to find the app you want a refund for.
  4. Choose Report a Problem, then select the reason — for example, “Didn’t mean to purchase this item.”

Apple reviews the request and, if it’s approved, refunds the charge to your original payment method.

Refund for the unused portion when you switch plans

If you move from a single-app subscription to the Bonobo Bundle — or otherwise change plans — you may be eligible for a refund on the unused portion of your existing subscription. Apply through Apple’s refund process.

Frequently asked questions

Can Bonobo refund me directly?

No. Apple purchases and bills our subscriptions, so refunds must be requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can help if Apple can't resolve it.
