Applies to: Your Bonobo account — Timepage (iPhone, iPad, Mac); Actions and Flow (iPhone, iPad, web).
Syncing keeps your data the same across all your devices. It works through your Bonobo account: when you’re signed in to the same account on each device, your data is synced between them over the internet automatically. There’s nothing extra to switch on — signing in is what enables it.
What you need
- A Bonobo account — the free account you create from any of our apps, signed in on each device.
- The same account signed in on every device you want to keep in sync.
- A working internet connection on each device, so changes can be sent and received.
Set up syncing on a new device
- Open the app on the new device.
- Open the Menu and tap My Account.
- Sign in with the same account you use on your other devices.
Once you’re signed in, your data syncs across automatically.
Flow and Actions vs Timepage calendars
Flow and Actions store their data in your Bonobo account, so they sync through the steps above. Timepage is different: its calendars come directly from your calendar provider (iCloud, Google, Exchange, and so on) rather than from your Bonobo account, so each device has to be set up with those calendar accounts independently. See Set up your calendars.
If your data looks different between devices
If your Flow or Actions data doesn’t match across devices, check that:
- each device has a working internet connection, and
- you’re signed in with the same account on each one (open the Menu > My Account in each app and confirm the account details are identical).
For Timepage events that differ between devices, see Events aren’t syncing between your devices, since those come from your calendar accounts rather than from syncing.
