Timepage settings

Applies to: Timepage on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

This is a reference to Timepage’s settings, grouped by the preferences screen each one lives on. Open Menu > Settings in Timepage to find them. Some options are noted as iPhone-only where they don’t apply on iPad or Mac.

General

  • Sync preferences between my devices — sets Timepage up the same way across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
  • Status Bar (iPhone only) — toggle whether the status bar is shown.
  • Account Sharing — turn on “Share account among Bonobo apps” to sign in once and share your subscription across Timepage, Actions, Flow, and Overlap.
  • Reset Settings and Tips — resets Timepage’s settings and tips back to their defaults.

Calendars

Manage how the calendars linked to your device are displayed in Timepage. This controls calendar display; to add or connect calendar accounts, see Set up your calendars.

Events

  • Open Event Details After Creation — opens the Event screen after you enter a title and time.
  • Fade Passed Events — fades the title of events that have already happened today.
  • Default Duration — the default length for a new event.
  • Default Event Notifications — set up one or more reminders before an event. For all-day events, notifications can be set on the day and on days beforehand.
  • RSVP — by default, Timepage automatically checks for unanswered invites.
  • Hide Duplicate Birthdays — hides a birthday that appears in more than one calendar.

Timeline

  • Weather — show or hide weather for upcoming days on the right of the Timeline.
  • Invites — turn off to hide events you’ve been invited to from the Timeline.
  • Shading — choose how different days are shaded.
  • Event Animation — turn on/off days rolling through events that don’t fit on screen.
  • Days at a Glance — choose how many days show on screen.
  • Layout Mode — choose Traditional or Multiline layout for events.
  • Hide All-Day Events — hide all-day events from the Timeline.
  • Hide Birthday Events — hide birthday events from the Timeline.
  • Day at Top — choose whether Today or Yesterday sits at the top.
  • Strong Dividers — stronger dividers between days.
  • Prominent Days — make the current day stand out more.

Weeks

  • Week Numbers — toggle week numbers on the Timeline and Day views.
  • Week Mode — North American (mm/dd/yyyy), ISO 8601 (dd/mm/yyyy), or Middle East (yyyy/mm/dd).
  • Week Start — set which day your week starts on.

Time

  • 24-hour time — show times in 24-hour format.
  • Time zone — match your current location, use the system time zone, or search for a specific one.
  • Alternate calendar — display an alternate calendar alongside the Gregorian one: Buddhist, Chinese Lunar, Coptic, Hebrew, Indian, Islamic (Civil), Islamic (Umm al-Qura), or Persian.

Weather

  • Weather Location — choose a custom location for forecasts.
  • Temperature — actual or “feels like”.
  • Units — Fahrenheit or Celsius.
  • Wind — Kph, Mph, or Knots.
  • Show Weather at Top — show weather at the top of the Timeline.

Travel and Directions

Events with a location can show the travel time to get there from where you are.

  • Travel Modes — default to driving, walking, cycling, or transit.
  • App for Directions — Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze.
  • Travel Icons — change the icons via the “Travel Icons” button.
  • Advanced Travel Modes — turn on to unlock additional travel modes.

App Icon

  • Icon colour — tap Choose a color for a custom colour, or Match Theme to follow your current theme.
  • Icon Style — pick from several app-icon designs, not just colours.
  • Badge — show the date, the number of events remaining today, or None to hide the badge.

Text Size

Match your iOS text size (within the standard range), or set a size specific to Timepage.

Sounds

Turn sound effects and haptics on or off, and choose the sound used for reminders.
