Create and manage your account

Applies to: Your Bonobo account — Timepage (iPhone, iPad, Mac); Actions and Flow (iPhone, iPad, web).

Your Bonobo account is the free account that ties everything together — it syncs your data and settings across your devices and carries your membership between them. You can create one, sign in, and manage your details from any of our apps or from the accounts site. Here’s how.

Create an account or sign in

1. Tap Sign in, either in the Menu or in the pop-up dialog.
2. Choose your preferred sign-in method — Email, Google, or Apple.
3. Follow the verification steps for the method you chose.

Why you need an account

Timepage, Actions, and Flow require a Bonobo account — it’s how your membership and your data stay with you. (Overlap is the exception: it’s free and needs no account.) Your account also gives you:

• Cross-device syncing of your app data and settings (see Set up syncing).
• Your membership across devices, so a subscription you buy on one device works on the others.

Because we value your privacy, we do not and cannot view any event information sent with an account. We only access your Actions data with your express permission, for debugging.

If you used to log in with Facebook

We removed Facebook Login from our apps in stages — partially in March 2021, and completely in June 2024. If you previously signed in with Facebook and haven’t since set a password, contact support and we’ll help you restore access to your account.

Change your name, email, or password

On the web:

1. Go to the accounts site.
2. Log in with your account.
3. Under Email or Password, click Change.

On iPhone or iPad:

1. Open Actions on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Open the Menu, then tap Account.
3. If you’re not logged in, tap Sign In first.
4. Tap Update email and password.
5. Type your new email and name, then tap the arrow to continue.
6. To change your password, tap Need to change your password? and follow the prompts.

See your memberships

1. Go to the accounts site.
2. Log in with your account.
3. Click Account.

Merge or delete your account

If you’ve ended up with more than one account, we can combine them for you — see Merge your accounts.
